Introduces our enhanced educational system by teaching participants four basic haircuts which use the Zero° (degree) position on our patented tool. This disciplinary program presents the baseline principles for body mechanics which underlie our Level 1 certification curriculum. These first four haircuts are presented in English and Spanish.
Teaching our Level 1 is accomplished one of three ways:
- Using our on-line video presentations and manual.
- Hands-on in our Santa Ana Technical Center
- Live, on-line Webinar interactive sessions with an educator

- Talk to the Educator with Joaquin Regalado - each month we will have an interactive session on zoom to discuss questions about the haircuts.
- Office Hours - will give students an opportunity to ask questions via chat with one of our educators.
- Shears Mechanics - Did you know there are 14 unique ways to hold shears during haircuts? We teach you distinct ways to correctly hold shears depending on what type of haircut you are executing.
- The second phase of Level 1, the 45° video series will be available online.
The most challenging enhanced training in the industry, achieving Level 1 opens the first door to our Five Level Master Curriculum.
Level 1 -
Encompasses twelve (12) Haircutting Classes - These represent the foundation of haircutting using THE COMB, the most precise cutting tool in the Hair Industry. We feature four haircuts using the 0° setting, four haircuts using the 45° setting and four haircuts using the 90° setting.

Every Sunday, Monday or Tuesday of the week, one day for 15 weeks (Learn one haircut a week plus a review class for each angle)

The Comb Training program Level 1 is has changed the perspective of haircutting: learned from from Educators, students and hairstylists. All our live in-academy classes are personalized.
We provide great support to salon owners with our Assistants Training program and to beauty schools in Mexico and USA (in conjunction with TNN Beauty School - Apprentice Program).

PROGRAM GOAL
Participants will be introduced to hair color basics, learn professional level techniques and be exposed to and practice the latest trends in color. EACH LEVEL IS CUMULATIVE AND INCLUDES THE NUMBER OF CLASSES IN THE PREVIOUS LEVEL SELECTED.
